Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

Now is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its biggest advancement is an obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste most other robots can't avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters to let you know to avoid it in the future.

The Combo j7+ is also the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt effortlessly and leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't sweep in areas you don’t wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.

The design is also better than the other models. It features a sleek, top piece that looks like toys rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System self-empties, which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it around the floor. It even could capture sand and small gravel, which most other robots can't. It did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.

While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the j7+ is still a solid option for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and it can be difficult to tell if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best option. These robots come with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. These bots also have various additional features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but they often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is one of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. While it may not include some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent option for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like table legs and walls, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem which many robot vacuums can really fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps on walls and corners.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled via only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or change the room's label.

If you opt for the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto emptying dock that is designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place emptying the bin is done with relative ease. It comes with a huge LCD screen which is helpful in setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessary feature for everyone however it can help you keep track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is among the best in the industry however, it's costly.

The base station is attractive and is easily hidden when not in use, and the size is relatively compact. The station's most appealing point is how it automates various tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to do this.

And its vacuuming is impressive and efficient, too. It's the few robovacs I've tested that do an excellent job of cleaning up debris from plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robotvacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the house. It can't climb stairs as well as competitors, and it doesn't have a dock that lets the user to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't have as much in the way of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price cost.

However, if you're looking to save money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robot There are many alternatives on the market which include a variety of eufy models that cost substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with more features, including the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy, a Anker company, has a track record of producing robot vacuums that strike the right balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning on hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a reasonable price. It's simple to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app takes you through several steps to connect it to Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be located near an outlet with plenty of space to move.

The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it will fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is more modest than other models, with sleek black finishes and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The way that the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from other models. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of immovable objects it encounters, remembering what it's already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it began.

The eufy G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, has similar battery life and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It has a bigger dust bin, which does not require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30, however is more affordable and much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be emptied as frequently, and it has less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
